The more I learn, the less I know. Or at least, I realize how much more there is to learn, and how small a fraction I have actually absorbed. This is even true of the person I’ve known the longest.

People “of a certain age” believe that they’re done growing. That’s when they start to die.

Great music will benefit your audience ONLY once they’ve FOUND your music. So how do YOU find your potential fans, and guide them to your awesome new single?

It starts very simply.

Be an interesting human.

STOP waiting for someone to come and save you. You don’t need a record label or a deal to be a massively successful artist. As a friend of mine used to say, “whoever discovers you owns you”.

You have to learn to play the game of the NEW music business. And three basic rules are this.

Always be writing & recording.

Release new music, videos, etc, every 6-8 weeks.

Always release on Fridays.

Unless you’re Limp Bizkit. Then you can do whatever you want.

The mathematics of music was good for two things:
